MERIDA, MEXICO:
In this studio I worked with 3 other students to analyze, and propose a design for a large parcel of land under redevelopment in an underutilized area in the city of Merida, the capital of the Yucatan Penisula. This project was focused on mitigating gentrification, appreciating and incorporating green space and natural indigenous plants into urban life, and celebrating and creating space for daily rituals and cultural habits of the people that live in Merida.
